Borghof Castle Estate has a long history as a castle and farm complex in the heart of Haspengouw. In recent years, the estate was repurposed as an architect’s office with a B&B concept and later as an event venue.
The park is composed of meandering paths, open lawns, orchards, a kitchen garden, and a park pond with an integrated pavilion. More than one hundred mature trees were planted, with trunk diameters ranging from 60 to 150 cm, giving the design an immediately established character.
The swimming pool and wellness garden are subtly integrated into the landscape. The greenery of the inner courtyard softens the overall environment and creates a pleasant microclimate, even on warm days. Everything was executed with attention to character, patina, and refinement, giving the estate a particularly warm and inviting atmosphere.
