Natural garden East-Limburg
This private garden is located on the Kempish Plateau, a landscape that inspired the design concept. The concept is rooted in the natural context and translates it into a contemporary, layered garden where landscape and architecture closely intertwine. The strength of the design lies in its simplicity, materiality, and the refinement of details.
The path network forms a series of veins that weave through the site. In certain areas, the veins open up, allowing greenery to emerge organically in the form of characteristic vegetation. The garden is organized into four thematic zones: a gently undulating dune landscape with heather; a natural meadow with shrubs and trees; a native forest with a characteristic edge; and a patio garden featuring plants from around the world as a surprising contrast. Both the concrete elements—rough, sandblasted, or washed—and the metalwork have been executed with meticulous precision and attention to detail.
